ShopInsure supports Florida homeowners (HO3) and rental-property (DP3) quotes. Jenna at Greene Insurance, a local agency in Lake City, helps the customer choose coverage and supports their policy after purchase.

Know which markets are in the panel.

Read the verified carrier directory or its public JSON catalog for the market count, names, scope and review date. These describe the online panel, not guaranteed eligibility or prices for a particular home.

  1. Prepare the quote.

    Send JSON to POST /api/agent/quotes/prepare with customerConsent: true, known answers and one applicant. I’ll return a private draftToken, missing questions and a review of the pricing details.

  2. Fill in only what’s missing.

    Reuse the draft token when adding or correcting answers. Put all owners in answers.ownershipName. The applicant’s name and date of birth stay together, including names with hyphens or more than one surname.

  3. Check prices.

    After your customer reviews the details and assumptions, send the draft token and customerConfirmed: true to POST /api/agent/quotes. I’ll issue a private quote token automatically. Use it to retrieve that quote’s results, following the returned retry timing.

  4. Help them continue.

    When your customer chooses a price, request a private continuation link using its rate ID. Their details and chosen price will be waiting on ShopInsure after sign-in. They decide when to send their request to Jenna.

Keep it private. Keep it moving.

Share only customer-authorized information. Keep draft tokens, quote tokens and continuation links out of logs and public messages. Drafts last 24 hours, quote access lasts up to seven days, and customer links last 30 minutes.

Reuse the same draft when retrying. Honor Retry-After; existing guest limits apply, including three carrier checks per source network per hour. If a carrier submission is uncertain, check that quote’s status before starting another.
